Today was an interesting day for me...
As I was dropping my son off at school, the Vice Principal was directing traffic away from the drop off zone. All the kids were in the soccer field. They told me that they had evacuated the building and the authorities were checking things out. I left with my kid.
Apparently, someone had made a threat to blow up the school. It's a Private Christian School. Crazy.
So, I waited until long after the kids had re-entered the building to walk my kid in there.
AND
My son and I were riding bikes by the river today and there was a camera crew on the path. They filmed us and I did not think anything about it. When I got home, I checked the internet for news stories and at the bottom...there we were. They were doing a piece on bike safety. And of course, while my son was wearing all his protective gear...I had on a RDB hat and sunglasses. Go figure.
