I worked on the flightline in the Marines and they NEVER shut down the flightline for us stupid Marines.

A fart will almost always set off a gas detector for lower explosive limit, but the really rotton ones will set off our hydrogen sulfide detectors.

Oh back to your MP/WD quandry, the wd makes for a very good edc blade. It's long enough for MANY purposes yet not to long. If there was ONE thing I would critize it would be I wish the handle was at least 1/2 inch shorter. Just because it would make concealment under a shirt (for THIS overweight) old man, not print as easily. Don't get me wrong, I am not really critizing it just a wish I guess. If I wasn't so fat it would not be ANY problem.

Man, I wouldn't think that the sensors would be THAT sensitive. But then again, I guess they would have to be so that an explosive buildup wouldn't happen.

Oh and as for shutting down a Marine flightline, those biplanes weren't as sensitive to lightening!

Yeah, I'm a bit tubby now. Concealing a fixed blade under a t-shirt is nearly impossible for me now, so I'm losing weight. 20 pounds down, 30 to go!
I never thought the H2S thing was true. I kept seeing guys try and try, then finally it happened. I still don't understand how a person can produce hydrogen sulfide.

Well, we produce ammonia! Just pee in a toilet that has bleach in it to clean it out. It'll burn your throat at least if you're not careful. Happened to me once. The trustees put bleach in the john to bleach it out some and the fumes couldn't be seen but man my throat hurt for about 3 days!

Been there! I had friends at Hickam and when I was Stationed at Yokota I went there every year for Christmas for 4 years, a month at at time. AND my bud had a brother stationed at kanoehe.
