Howdy folks. First chance since yesterday to look at the puter. The semi-pro game last night was pretty good ball game but I got to sit next to one of our state reps that was doing the announcing. Now this rep is someone who I normally would not talk to if I had know she was a rep. However, after talking with her through the game I must say that I need to be less judgmental of reps until I actually talk to them. Before I left this morning I looked her and her voting record up and I realized she is more my idea of a politician than I would have thought--just like the old time ideas. Kinda a wake-up call of sorts.

Today I got up and drove to a buddies house, had lunch with him and his wife, loaded up over 500 rds of .38 spcl, redneck ranged on a pond, ate dinner, and had a nice drive home. A very relaxing day to say the least. Only bad thing was I grabbed my .44mag this morning and not my .357 mag for the range time-----shot his revolver though. Not many rounds but enough to get some feel and enjoyment.

I figured as much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> You guys heard about this story?

Plan to Build Mosque Near Ground Zero

Very weird decision to even contemplate it, good intentions or not. Think the wound is a little too raw yet.

Several years ago a friend of mine warned me not to. He said people would recognize that it was for concealed carry.

I did anyway and in the last three years NOT ONE PERSON has ever said anything.

Anyway, a year ago I was concerned about buying a TAD Gear jacket for the same basic reason.

And honestly, no one has ever said anything about it either. It's a great jacket and no one I know or have run into knows about the company let alone any "pretentious" reputation it might have.
