it feels like it could survive a bomb blast, very solid, the leather is very compressed and tight

Did you use glue to hold it to the sheath or just molding and the rivets?

just molding and rivets and a retension screw at the bottom, although even without the retension screw the kydex liner isn't coming out without alot of force cause the leather is so tight to it

Yeah from the way it looked I didn't think that the Retaining screw was really necessary.

I though it would be, then I riveted the leather closed and then realized it didn't need it, but better safe than sorry, leather can swell, and if it does the screw will hold it in place
