Nope, not with sumo. I'm going to with a couple of friends to their family's place. There is a good size pond for some fishing and a jet ski can get on there too. I plan on just relaxing, drinking some beer, and just having an awesome time!
How are things with you Mag?

I should be going camping this weekend. I also get to run my new AK. Brand spankin new! My camera is broken, my phone won't hold a charge long enough to send a text, and it won't even load the camera, so I sent in for a new one. As soon as that arrives, I'll post pics of all the stuff I've gotten in the last few days (too much to list here).

Here's what I ended up picking up, for half the MSRP hehehehe...

http://www.arsenalinc.com/sgl21.htm

It's originally manufactured by Legion, the custom shop at the Izhmash factory in Russia (real russian, w007!) and imported in a Saiga sporter configuration, then Arsenal nevada converts them to a MIL configuration, and adds the requisite number of US made parts to be sec. 922r compliant. When I first looked at this rifle, the MSRP was 989$, so I started looking for cheaper options (it's gonna be a kit gun, I'm ordering the awesome scope rail as I type this), but I went over to my favorite dealer today, and started asking about what he could do to order me a sample of another brand of Ak, and he mentioned he had some bulgarians I might wanna look at. He handed me the rifle, I checked the pricetag (525$), and I turned it over... looked at the markings... and asked Eldon "Is this the right price?"

He said yep

I said "I'll take it!"

Nice score. I sold my AKs last year. Had 2 Norincos - 1 milled and 1 stamped. Lots of cheap shooting fun.

I agree, and this one should be a little more economical to shoot than my 5.56 is. I can shoot cheap .223 thru the other one, but it still ends up being 40 cents a round. 7.62x39 in bulk is about a quarter a pop.

Especially if you can shoot the Wolf or Brown Bear ammo. Some ranges don't allow it because they can't make money on the brass.

Muzzle brake doesn't have the same matte finish as the rest of the rifle. the rifle is parkerized, but the brake is a tad glossy. Looks a bit out of place, and it doesnt show the concentric machining marks that the barrel does. Cast part maybe?
