Oh, and the magazine is larger than normal for a 22 rimfire would be.

Savage 93R (is the R for rimfire I guess). It has a regular shaped trigger but then there is a silver colored "blade" that is vertical in the whole length of the triggr. Is THAT the 'accu) part you were talking about?

Yes, it is. It is user adjustable too. If you don't have the tool, you can get one at the gunstore.

Well, the grooves on a .17 HMR barrel are very tiny. So, you have to be really careful with the barrel. So, if the previous cleaned the barrel with a dirty boresnake and damaged the barrel, you can start to get big groups. Probaly did not happen, but for 200 bucks, you can get a new one. Savage also upgraded the way the bed the rifle. I think it's call acu-bed. So, a newer one will have this, I think.

That being said, it's really difficult to judge how this will shoot. But, all savages that I have used with an accutrigger are good shooters.

The bbl was wooden stocked bolt action but I really liked the looks of it. Question is, WHAT would I use it for around here? Oh, and how much is ammo??

.17 is one of my favorite rounds. Little to no recoil, excellent speed for a rimfire, inherently accurate bullets.

Here is fun link.
