Personally I like the way it looks better than the Prototype everyone was gaga over.

I was thinking about a res-c style Kuk, or even a nmfbm style blade, but I would be a little worried that so much blade weight would cause to much stress on the smaller tang and only one tube fastener

Counter sink a couple holes in some horse stall matting and bolt it on. That would allow for a lot of personal modification if folks wanted and replacement of the grips if they got damaged.

someone did the horsemat handles over on BF, looked pretty good, I've always wondered if Dan has ever tried a res-c slab style handle and it just doesn't work out
