Now the Gladius, I like. I want a Gladius but this would be a hell of a combat blade. In a culture like A-Stan and the middle east where the society is based on the blade these would make a point.

Yup. AR mags are light enough loaded and store easily. Besides, you got all thous pouches to fill!

Now the Gladius, but that is because I love Roman dominance and Jerrry is right, had he been around durng the Empire the blades would have still been around LOL.

Very true! Between my vest and bandolier, I can carry 20 mags. Would you consider that overkill?

Not on the overkill. That is like carrying 300 rds of 7.62x51mm.
I carried my pack today when we fishing, probably weing about 35ish lbs with no water in the bladder but about 5 lbs of extra knives.

LOL. I think my bag is right around 25lbs. But that's not with my WD or camelbak. I really need to go over to H&H and check out that White Tail Hybrid. See if that would be something to think about ordering!
