ONE of the things we're waiting on is this 2008 Bighorn with 15009 miles on it. A friend of ours from church died. His widow (74) has never driven, has no license. She needs to get out from under it and has offered it to for less than half what it sold for new. BUT she was not with him when he bought it. Her name is not on the title. We are hoping it will only take about 3 or 4 weeks (hopefully less) to get the title back in her name (need Death cretificate and a form from the state, waiting on the DC) to get it from his name to hers. THEN we can complete the sale to us. It's got a lot more on it than we would like but for the price, a no brainer.

Oh, it's not a Hemi (thank goodness) but the 4.7 which is bad enough. but for 14k we couldn't pass it up. We are the only ones she offered it to for this price as she said that her husband liked us and really liked Patty and that we have both done a lot for them. he has had heart problems for several years.

Chris, yes it is. We went to the bank on Monday and found out all this stuff. Probably would have been a lot easier to forge his name, but that would have been illegal and HE has two sons that are not pillars of the community if you know what I mean. This way, although it will take longer is completely leagle per the state and they won't have a leg to stand on IF they had a mind to try and do something.

Short term pain for long term gain. Last thing you would need is to give them a foothold. Glad that it is moving forward, albeit at a slow pace.

But MAN, is the wait torture! That thing is SWEET for this old contry boy. It's only 2WD, but we don't mind that at all. This will be the BEST vehicle Patty or I either one have ever owned.
