The Gladius.

And, if you have a CG S5, it will, IMHO, out perform the S5LE in the tasks required of a 5 inch blade.

I have both. I like the CG better.

K - Always good to hear a child being responsible. I hope my offspring will call me out when I'm acting a fool, lol.

I still need to get a chopper. can't afford to get one right now though.

The question is, can you afford NOT to have one? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well, there's a little story to why I like the gladius so much.

When I was a little kid, we did not have that much money. I never knew it though. My dad would bring home all sorts of boxes and we'd make them into houses and takes and such. He would also make wooden swords out of broken chopping boards or 2x4 scraps. One Christmas, he made me a sword and painted it silver. I loved it. I still have it. In fact, it's my youngest son's favorite sword to carry around. Even if he's just wearing underwear, he sticks the wooden sword in his chonies.

Well, that wooden sword was as Gladius. So, when I saw the Gladius, I knew I had to have it. And no, I'm not going to let my youngest son play with it. Unless I want Nicholas to be a Nichole.

So, there it is. Why did I trade my NMFBM, so I could have an Infi version of one of my favorite childhood posessions.

if you are looking for RAW chopping power on a budget, then the standard Combat grade Dogfather is the way to go
