In Korea we had some little barracks rooms w/ 3 guys per room, and communal showers, the whole 9! The units down south had it a lot nicer though.
In the AF we had our own room that we shared a kitchen and bathroom with 1 other person and we shared a living room/day room with 3 other guys.
Ha! I'm talking about 3 guys - in a 13x17' room or so - two guys bunked and one sleeping head to head w/ the bottom bunk guy. We had a couch. 3 wall lockers. communal showers. Had to clean the walls with bleach to stop the mold from growing.
IN FACT, our camp (Camp Stanley) had a guest barracks, for VIPs and stuff, but since they didn't meet the Air Force minimum standards, we had to house AF personnel in civilian hotels off post or at another camp!!
