I'm not anywhere near that bad sleep wise. I usually go to bed around 3pm and TRY to sleep until 10:30pm. My problem is either falling asleep in the first place and or wakeing up several times. AND it might be the bed, trying to find a comfortable position. Don't really know for sure, but I have had this problem for many many years. Just chaulked up to a way of life for me. ALL I work is midnight to 8am 5 days a week. It actually gives us more time together to do things during the day when things are open.

I feel for you guys and the not sleeping - I worked a weekly rotating shift for years! There were times I didn't know what day it was, the same day, or whatever. And the bosses thought NOTHING of calling us just after we DID get to sleep, usually to just ask us a stupid question they could have answered themselves.

Morning Sir Tom. Yup that has happened, but not for awhile. When I was in the AF we worked a 6 and 4. 2D 2S and 2M. I LOVED IT! The days and swings were a piece of cake and the 2 mids were not to many in a row that it really messed your normal cycle up. Oh back then Days started at 0700, Swings at 1500 and Mids at 2300. Wish we could work that here.

You've already got a house? Man from what I've seen on tv and heard housing prices out there are NUTS! We have a 1200 sqft house that we paid 40K for that that was on the medium high range for that size house around here.

thanks Tom. yah we just got it this past December. house prices were crazy over here, but then the whole economy thing kinda brought prices down. we were able to get 1,400 sqft two story house for 158k, which a couple of years ago sold for 280k!
