I have threatened myself several times to TRY and do a convex edge but would need to assembly the items required and I already have a lot of stones/hones and have just sort of said EH, this has worked for all these years. My big step was using the mouse pad approach on the original Gerber knife my father purchased for me as my first one. Turned out good actually. (Thank goodness! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />)

i would have. this hammock stuff began when i was trying to outfit the bike for a tour.
by the way i think i now smell like the jungle hammock. can't really tell.

Using that method you don't apply any pressure right, just let the blade "rest" on the sandpaper?
