I have a '79 Chev 2wd. It's a beater but I do LOVE my truck!!!

Where I live, I need a 4wd for bad weather, and my Explorer is only 2wd. I got stuck in it last year ON FLAT GROUND when it snowed unexpectedly. Had a 4wd truck at home and just about didn't get there.

We have 3 drivers in our house and 3 4x4's and a car and it never snows here.
My jeep is a weekend toy though

No Yote. Well yes.
Originally it was a diesel but in the early '80's a 350 olds was mated to the 400 turbo tranny. The bell housing on the trans matched the housing on the engine.
For an old, leaks a lot of oil engine, it sure has a LOT of pep!!!

This the FIRST truck that my dad bought brand new. It was blue.
Before my time though.

My first vehicle was a 1969 Jeep Commando, been hooked on 4wd ever since. Had plenty of cars, but usually a truck in the mix somewhere too. First vehicle I ever drove was a 1970 Chevy dumptruck, drove it on the farm my dad helped run when I was about 13 years old

those early chev diesels sucked but any gm 350 is usually pretty solid

The first vehicle I owned was a 1970 mazda B 1800 pick-up, then I bought a 1968 Falcon sport coupe, 289 with 4 on the floor, man I wish I still had that.

Since I was 19, I've almost always had a car and a 4x4, I've always enjoyed 4x4'ing, hunting and camping

This is what I'm going with.
The Foot Long

I like that a LOT <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Though I heard the one sold in the store is not bad at all for the price.
Hey there Martin.
I believe it is a good buy but I wanted to try something different.
I saw this one in a thread on BF and LOVED it. I wanted to try it out.
They also have this 'The Works' Pack Kit That I would like for my Mutt.
