I have a riding mower, but I also have about 3/4 acre to mow. I did it ONCE with a push mower. Never again.

I did find a yellowjacket nest this morning in a gourd my wife had hanging in our cherry tree. Shot the gourd with a shotgun from about 40 ft, no more bees nest LOL

Two rounds from the 12 gauge finished the nest off, but the bees are still swarming around the tree. I'll look again tomorrow and hope to be able to mow under the tree then.

Wow, only 94 here tomorrow. Down from the 97 we had today. We had a little cold front or something come through today here in Austin. Well...I think we did anyhow...my truck wasn't blazing hot after work like yesterday. I suspect the high wasn't near yesterdays. Always a good thing! I ran sprints on the street last week in 98 temps with hellacious humidity...nearly killed an old man!
