I've never been to Charleston....but always wanted to go. So many places to go, so little time.... /sigh Never actually stayed at the Mills House, but I would love to. We usually stay out at Mt Pleasant, across the bridge from the city. It's a little cheaper to stay out there.

Next year there needs to be a Dog-only gathering offsite somewhere, to ensure everyone gets a chance to meet up. I'm hopeful I will get to go...but man, so expensive to travel that far. Would still be grand to get to meet you guys.

I fully understand the quandry of trying to decide if I really want to spend the money to go, or just find a proxy and use the money for knives. The quandry for me is, if we have two trips a year...one of which I get to determine....it's hard for me to pick Blade over HUNTING. I really get a lot of energy from being in the woods and disconnecting from technology / society completely....mass decompression. Oh well...maybe I'll make more money and be able to afford both some day. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Would really dig meeting all of you folks. The reports back where extremely laid back.
