one thing I have never been able to buy a lot of is junk food. not because I'm a health nut guy. or anything but because the prices are ridiculous. and I'm always irritated by the smaller portions. is it just me or are food companies slowly shrinking the portions?

I have two teens in the house, so there's always junk food around. Tonight, on the way to work, I stopped and picked up a bag of Hot Fries and a bag of grapes, plus a microwave sandwich for dinner. It's always a community meal here, everyone brings stuff in, so it's mix and match LOL.

Portions are shrinking in junk food, you're right. Just look at ice cream, you don't buy 1/2 gallons, you buy 1 1/2 quarts, etc. But they raise the prices anyway.

Main reason I got so much at the store was because Tom's Hot Fries was becoming a regular on my daily menu again. That's always a sign of worse to come for me. First hot fries bags start showing up, then grape soda bottles, and before I know it my place is littered with fast food bags and foam and plastic dishes.

I won't even buy a big bag of hot fries anymore. no matter how much I try to stop I just run through the whole bag like a bad boy.

I know what you mean. I don't buy them very often for the very same reason, but tonight I was really really tasting them, so I got a bag. GONE!

well now the doritos and sprite I got last night look super wack. at least they only cost me 99 cent each...
