Actually we be doing good, specially since it has cooled off a few degrees.
AND Patty isn't getting sick everyday like she was! She started taking some of her meds at a different time and so far so good.

I think we did good. I have shot the 30-30 before, and got about 150 rds with it. Since my bro got a Rem 700, in 30-06, from one of buddies he just lauds that and the Texican was not getting much love. Me, I love the straight stock on a 30-30 Marlin.

rth, YUP, you missed it. Dan had it up for like 5 minutes then brought it down. He Knows how we dogs can smell blood in the air (or free steel)! yeah the 06 is a good round, but personally I just like the shorter action of the .308. Had an ought six in Idaho, but really only bought it cause it was cheaper than the 308 I was lookin at.

It always amazes me that little things like that can make major changes. Weather, first day in a long time that OKC has not been in the 90's. Slight showers this morning got warm this afternoon but cooling off nicely. The A/C not running as hard.

Am is doing pretty well. She is staying busy this summer working for her dad's heat and air company. I think she is planning on making the trip to AR at the end of July. I sure hope she can make it. How is the AR trip looking for you?
