Agreed Skunk! A real muzzleloader doesn't carry a scope either. Irons only! I've got a TC Hawkens and I like it, my middle brother has an in-line muzzleloader which I hope to shoot this year. But I agree an in-line is almost like shooting a paper hulled cartridge rifle. He uses a shotgun primer, synthetic blackpowder that come in 50 grain pieces and a sabot 44 cal pistol bullet. AND it has a synthetic stock I just can't call that muzzleloading
