I still look at some of those my old C programming books and laugh. Never even cracked one open. But the downside to catching on quick is that it leaves almost just as fast. I seriously just wants to sit down one day and build a robot. Didn't really care about the learning part just the doing. A teachers nightmare...

Greeting fellow dogs! It's been a great day in the mountains of NC. Got to spend the day with my wife, caught fish till we got tired of catching them and we had a wonderful lunch in Blowing Rock.

Hopefully the ZDC guys will come along in a while, it's lonely in here by myself.

Ok, back. Anyone else around?

Ok, so my wife and I went into this BBQ place in Blowing Rock, up in the mountians. I had my ESEE-4 on my belt, like usual. Nobody paid it any attention, no one said anything. But.....

We get back to the vehicle, and my wife looks over at me and in the most horrified voice, said "You had that big old knife on your hip? What if someone had seen it and called the law?"

I couldn't believe that I had to actually explain that it wasn't against the law and no one really cared that I was carrying a knife.
