If I were to ever hit the lottery, I'd buy a big piece of land out west somewhere and put up 12 ft fences all around it LOL. I guess my wife is right, I'm turning into a hermit. I always told my wife if we one the lottery the only way in would be by helicopter

Hey MB, you heard about that group of people arrested for that Body that they found on Rampart... Crazy story, I was acquainted with the guy who drove the car they used to dump the body. Sadly, that seems to be Chris' MO, not thinking enough to drop a body where no one will find it.. instead he drops it on Rampart Range road, one of the most traveled roads in the mountains around here. ever since he got into heroin, he got stupid. now it looks like it caught up with him.

Believe it or not, my last job was worse for it than this one. I used to be a crime reporter for a newspaper, that's how I made the contacts that got me to the Sheriffs Office. What got me the worst was working 6 years undercover. Never thought this place was that bad until that experience. Really opened my already jaded eyes.

Hi Yote! Yep, you got that nailed, if you want to be in a remote place. Wife and I plan to retire up in the interior, but that is 15 to 20 years away and if we don't have health problems

That happened when I was out of state. I think I would be more worried about the fact he was associated with a murder than a poor choice of where to dump a body. Too bad Canada's gun laws are so strict, otherwise I'd move up there in a heartbeat. I wonder though if I could find a place where they'd never bother me?

I would never trade the experience. I learned a ton and made life long friends around the nation. But it was definately an eye opener. I bet undercover would be horrible for seeing that kind of stuff. Shoot, just sitting in dispatch I hear stuff that I'll never forget.
