Thats why I don't mind having to work weekends. Hell on family life but great for recreation.

I am lucky, it only takes 3 maybe 4 hours to get real remote.

Believe it or not, my last job was worse for it than this one. I used to be a crime reporter for a newspaper, that's how I made the contacts that got me to the Sheriffs Office.
