job stats for you since i started work 2 months ago:
- number of roll off construction bins (12 - 40 yard) dropped off and picked up: averaging 8 daily
- KM's driven weekly, not including to and from work: averaging 1000+ KM's a week
- amount of sleep nightly......5 - 6 hours
- amount of diesel weekly: 200+ liters (not bad for a V8 Cat tractor engine in the city, some highway!)
- amount of accidents (other drivers) witnessed daily: 15 - 20 incidents
- amount of bad driving errors witnessed daily: 10,000 to 12,000 separate incidents EVERYDAY
- amount of times civilians let me and my 10 ton tandem axle roll off truck in on a merge (keeping in mind i merge or change lanes thousands of times a day) 3 - 5.
- amount of times i let civvie vehicles merge or change lanes in front of me, daily: 2000 - 3000 vehicles
- number of times i shift the 15 speed daily (mostly CITY)........ 9000 - 12000 times a day. Already getting worn right elbow, and not from having fun!
- number of gears shifted to get the truck rolling off the line thru the intersection: 7 - 9 shifts
- number of times i check the oil daily in the venerable 1.8 million KM old CAT tractor engine: 2 - 4 times
- number of liters of oil i use monthly topping up said engine: 150 liters
- number of *(*&(^&*$##$&%^&*(&*^$$^ pieces of metal, nails, rocks, and other interesting objects that get imbedded in my truck tires daily: 5 - 10 items
- number of hours i hold my bladder waiting for a discretionary moment to pee....... average 3 to 5 hours.
- pain threshold as a result: very high.
- number of tons of construction garbage, dirt, rock, concrete, and other crap dumped daily: 50 tons DAILY
all told i'm having fun.
DAWG fragging tired though..................sorry i have not been in the Yard much......
