I also had a 73 Cutlass Supreme w/350 Rocket under the hood. That was a sweet car back in the day...lots of "firsts" in that car, lots of fond memories!

I had a 70 442, four speed, 455 olds w/ramair hood induction. What a ride! Not the ride for a 17 year old kid though, I promptly put it into a ditch showing my butt. Yep, weak throttle return springs don't work with a 455. Hit the gas, spun out of the drive of the store I was at, throttle didn't come back up and into the ditch I went!

Man that car would run! That is until Mom burned the engine up, course I just HAPPENED to be driving it when it turned loose. Was only doing 120.

Mom ran it out of water TWICE! After he calmed down, Dad figured that had something to do with it and he apologized for getting so upset with me. Course I never told him I was doing 120 either!

Mine was dark green w/black stripes, it was a beautiful car. I had several that I wish I had kept, and that was one of them.
