Hello Dogs, I am new here, as you can see, and I'm rather impressed with the community here - as weird as it is. You seem to be a tight bunch of would-be zombie killers with welcoming ways. I was given a warm welcome within minutes of my first post. Now that I have properly stroked you all, I am hoping you can help me. I just ordered my first Scrap Yard Knife and need a solid sheath for an upcoming deployment. I got the optional cordura sheath, but haven't seen any pictures of this thing. Will it remain securely attached to MOLLE gear when things get "bumpy?" Will someone post a picture of the sheath if you have one? I am guessing this sheath isn't up to mil. standards, which brings me to my second question. Does anyone here make custom sheaths? I have looked around and the only person I have found online so far is a man named Martin Swinkel. http://martinsheaths.blogspot.com/ Does anyone here have one of his sheaths and an opinion on his workmanship? I haven't read through all 697 pages of comments, but was curious if anyone has requested a Scrap Yard Lobo? No true zombie eradication team would go to war without one. Semper Fi, Jarhead

Which knife and sheath did you get JJ? If it was the Regulator and it's sheath, it's a pretty solid sheath. Of course, I don't jump out of airplanes either.
And Welcome!!!

JJ, Again, welcome to the greatest addiciton you can have with you clothes on! Ah, what's a scrapyard lobo? IF you got the Regulator or one of it's variants, the company sheath is pretty good. It's PROBABLY not jump rated, but for everything else it should suffice. If you wanted you could always mold yourself another liner out of kydex and you would be ready for anything. and YES, that sheath is fulym molle compatable/compliant.

Like B52 said, either guy he mentioned (and martin as well) make EXCELLENT sheaths and are not slow, but their backlog is pretty great so you MIGHT have a wait.
