Yeah I've seen the pictures and It does seem like a really useful blade. IF I was gonna use it primarily food/game/fish prep I can see where it would be VERY useful. But I don't so.... I guess we'll just keep my weiner.

Wait a minute, I didn't realize/remember that it was thinner. Now THAT would make it better for the above uses I talked about.

It was the Regulator. I guess I will just hold off until I get the knife before making any purchases.
And, thanks for the welcome.
I am looking forward to giving this knife a good beating. I have gone through many blades over the years and have always been told things like "you shouldn't use your knife for that." Well, I want a knife that I can do "that" with, whatever "that" may be.
A friend told me about Busse Combat Knife Company, but they were to expensive for something I treat like dirt. When I found Scrap Yard Knives it seems like I found a knife company just for me. Only time will tell though. If these things are as tough as everyone says at these kind of prices, I'll be one happy jarhead.

I tried to cut some solid foam insulation board (1 inch thick) with my Weiner and it DID cut good, but was to thick to go around the sharp corners. Wound up using my fillet knive again. Now the BD MIGHT have done good at this. What is it maybe, 1/8 inch thick?

If this was directed at my comment, it just proves that even friendly communities aren't immune to unfriendly moments. You shouldn't infer anything from a man's words before you have actually had a chance to get to know how he speaks or in this case writes. That would a stupid assumption on your part.
I'm sorry I didn't use all capitals in my retort.

Oh don't get me wrong, I LIKE my Milreg, just not really sure what catagory if fills for me. I have a DF, and an S5, a WD and A MP. The MilReg was just kinda a OOOH new SY knife, gotta get it and it's so economical (haha, almost said cheap!).
