I may try and fix it however my wife shared your view. She is a Nikon fan so there is a new D90 & a couple of VR lenses on the way. Only real bonus is that there were some great sales on due to it being Canada day. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /><img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Oh NO! Patty has the XS and really likes it. If I remember correctly, about the only difference between it and the XI is it does not do videos (at least not like the XI). They are getting down in price somewhat around here now.

Hehe, we had looked at the Nikon as well, but seattled on the Canon as Patty just liked it better. As far as specs, she said the Nikon and Canon were rated pretty much neck and neck. But her old 4MP (one used for the S&S pictures is a canon and she was familar with the controls sort of.
