Drop the treadmill and get on a bike, less impact Bike and eliptical are the way I'm going when I start back, hope the doctor will let me soon. It was either stay off my feet for a month or so or have surgery, and I'm all about not getting cut on. Of course, I didn't stay off my feet the entire month either, but no high impact stuff. Mostly swimming.

agreed, I went on a profile for floating patellas, and the only cardio I could do without tearing up my knees was the bike, strangely. Supposedly it's harder on your knees than running, but it wasn't really a joint problem I had either, just weak quads My biggest problem is I'm old and I'm fat. Knees can't handle the stress, and the back can't handle the twists and turns of playing golf. That's what I did to screw up my back.

I need to get out to the pool before it starts getting cold. Swimming in late september around here just isnt fun, you get out and freeze.

I love the water, go every chance I get. Hope it's going to be enough, I really need to get some weight off. My knees can't take the pounding of walking on the treadmill any more.

I have been a knife nut all my life. I am surprised I have never heard about STKCo before. I hope Busse lives up to what I expect from all your praises

They have a couple other good arguements as to why a bayonet is still a valuable tool. Don't know if they would convince they Army Beauracrats, but they all sounds good to me
