I saw this last wee the day before I ordered a Reg.

I've been trying for months, lol. I've pushed 4 active duty packets, but every time my commander comes up with some creative excuse and says NO. Warrant Officers are GREAT to have around to push things up the COC for lower enlisted like me, but when they want something from you, they turn those powers of pursuasion and authority around and what goes up, must come down, know what I mean?

He can get a Full Bird to send out help for Supply, and he can shoot down my active duty packet before it even goes up to battalion. Oh well, only 9 months left till the IRR.

Hit me up then if you want to go Jarhead. I have a lot of friends in recruiting and man power

SY knives are tough as nails, in my opinion. I will definitely usemy knives, but I will probably never put it through that kind of abuse, and it's very comforting to know that I own a practically nuke proof blade. A buddy of mine was touting his super hard tempered tanto blade to me, saying it could cut through my Dereg. I wasn't about to let him trash my Dereg, but I did want to show him up, so I took both knives and stuck them into the side of a pine tree, and put my full weight on my dereg and bounced up and down, zero damage except for some paint removal, returned to zero, then I did that with his knife, and it snapped off at the hilt... I felt bad, but he has a lifetime warrenty on it, just has to wait until next years rennaissance festival.

My daughter dated a jarhead for a while, but he broke up with her before he deployed to the sandbox a couple months ago.

I will definitely drop you a line for some contacts. I'm still on the fence, because I wouldn't mind going Army infantry, but when it comes down to fighting skills, I'd rather have the 13 weeks basic (I'd have to go through again, I don't have equivelant training) and onward.

We do more than 13 weeks. Every MOS goes through another month of infantry school befroe MOS school
