above pic is a supressor for my paintball marker, sorta a supressor. it wouldn't work for a real firearm, the open cell foam would melt, but it does dampen the sound of my marker firing a bit, and it looks badass. I'll try and get better pics when the camera has juice.
Yeah, there really wasnt that much action on the MP for some reason, but I was REEEEEALLLLY wanting on it, so maybe the universe decided to pull it off of the search pages. I even tried looking for it and couldn't bring it up except for on my watch list. Whatever happened, I'm stupidly excited now, lol

RTH, as a reporter I prefr natural light too, but there is a time and place for controlled light. When shooting for the paper, I usually had my on camera flash attached, even in bright daylight. I shoot with a Nikon D2h, not the best camera in the world for low light conditions, and it's dynamic range wasn't the best in the world either. But it has wonderful color renditions, and at 4.1 megapixels won't overload the computer system but still has enough resolution for newspaper print.

Did you get a sheath with it? What was the cost if you don't mind me asking?

yep, nailed it Steve, I just haven't painted the can yet. And it's not a real firearm. I payed 30 bucks for the tube, and no tax stamp, and it probably couldn't be made into an effective suppressor for a real firearm, the aluminum probably wouldn't hold up well, and the bore diameter is .68, so the sound occlusion would be minimal.

And still is for news print, but everything is web now at a higher res.

Yeah, I'm a generation behind, but I'm getting ready to buy a D300 soon, just have to stop buying knives LOL. I can't drop 5k on a camera, but the D300 is doable.

It's brand spanking new without pants for 140$, that was the starting bid price, and it was the only MP I or anyone else could find (apparently). Here's the pic that was posted on the ad. http://i.ebayimg.com/19/!Bwf-Z0w!mk~$(KGrHqR,!jgEv1+0CqBLBMJPC879FQ~~_35.JPG
