yep. I'm going to treat it with TW-25B as soon as it gets here, it's been raining alot and I want to get some rust preventative on it asap.

Oh, it's stainless? I thought it was SR-77 or 101, but I guess not! Well, in that case, I'm going to keep the TW-25B off of it, that way I can use it for food prep it I want to.

Have you looked at the 700? I've thought about the D700, but I do so many sports I'm not sure I want to give up the DX crop. The extra reach comes in handy shooting football and baseball and the such.

Yeah, I'm a generation behind, but I'm getting ready to buy a D300 soon, just have to stop buying knives LOL. I can't drop 5k on a camera, but the D300 is doable. You should really consider the D700. It is more expensive, but the sensor is 4 times as big. I'm not taking about MP. I am talking about light capture. It owns the night. check out dpreviews and do a side by side with the 300. You'll see the MP isn't that much bigger, but the sensor sis mammoth comparatively.
