I have two pictures in my portfolio, which I think are too close to each other. I want to keep one, but cut the other out. But which of these two should I keep in my portfolio, and which should I toss?

A) Pacific gopher snake


B) Wandering garter snake


Which would you keep in the portfolio, and which would you toss? And why?

I'm leaning toward keeping the Wandering garter snake in the portfolio.

I've gotten a few in my day that were from female friends that said that, and yes, they looked kinda like that, but they were usually out of uniform.

Mike, I personally like the depth of field in the second one, the first is nice too but the coil in focus draws the eye away from the head, where the second doesn't.

Mike, just out of curiousity, was the second shot on film and scanned?

No. Both are digital.
