Mike, ONE thing I like about Uncle Um already is the false edge. It's not ACTUALLY sharp, but darn close to it! It will act as an excellent scraper without having to mess up the primary edge. And It really fits MY hand well, as does Little Sebbie.

I haven't held an Um. (I have held a Seb.) Does it fit well in your hand? It's tiny, right?

Mike, no the Um is full size and it fits MY hand really nicely. I can grip it as tightly as I can and there is no painful places at all.

Mike If you have a fullsize Seb, the Um should be about the same size, or MAYBE just a tad bigger. I've never held a fullsize Sebbie so I can't say for sure.

Randy,
I don't own a Sebenza. I've played with them, but I didn't pull the trigger and buy one. They're very well made, but they don't fit the shape of my hands well at all, and they are difficult for my frail, arthritic hands to open, close, and handle.
Nice knives, but not for me.

I didn't know you had problems with your hands Mike, I am so sorry. I know how mine hurt once in a while and I REALLY feel for those that have the pain/problems all the time.
