I want to cook more fish but we do seem to ever have what I want. lots of catfish though..

I've had 5 Apple laptops over the last 15 years or so, and perhaps a dozen Apple computers, in total, over the last 30 years. This is the biggest upgrade from my previous, ever. It's the best thought out, the best designed, and the most trouble-free, too.

I'm very impressed and pleased with it.

good to hear... I don't have a laptop I can take serious anymore and may end up doing some mobile work soon. I know a pc is out of the picture.

You know, lazi, they make silicone keyboard covers for people like you. They make the laptop spilled-drink resistant.

lol... I have seen those. will probably invest in one but I'm actually going to have a couple of work computers and a seperate personal computer from now on. problems came from trying to use one for both. placement was always an issue with me trying stay close to the keys in different places.

Anyway, I'm happy with the 17" i7 MacBook Pro. It's a great laptop computer.

so how are kids sports pictures coming?

Not much to report. Kids sports apparently coincide with school. Right now is a lull between the end of little league softball and the beginning of soccer practice.

have you though about the extreme sports type stuff? my friend keeps up with alll of that stuff more since it's part of the business that he has dealt with a good but more.

Not really. I've shot a bit of surfing, kite surfing, and rock climbing, but my interest in kid's sports photography is in KID'S sports, not kid's SPORTS.

Besides, I want this to pay. People will pay more readily, and will pay more money, for pictures of their kids, than for pictures of themselves doing extreme sports.

I see... well things should pick up in a couple months.

just a brain fart but have you thought about shooting wildlife on the gulf coast? the way you take pictures would speak louder to people about the issue than a bunch of shots of dead fish and oil clumps on a beach. I've always seen your wildlife shots as showing animals with more human character and awareness than any other pictures I can recall.

Thank you, very much. That's especially pleasing to hear. I try to show nature in an empathetic way, and try to show it to make people have a greater appreciation of nature, to make them want to preserve nature.

I've done a tiny amount of shooting along the Gulf Coast, in the past. I'd love to do more.

I hadn't considered doing any, recently, in connection to the oil spill. I have a (temporarily postponed) photo trip planned to Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico, coming up soon.

Speaking of Colorado, have you moved to Colorado?
