It always kills me to see the Narc guys come into the office all trashy looking, then see them dressed up to go to court. They don't even look like the same people most of the time. One of the narc guys here is married to my cousin, I can't believe he does what he does, it's so out of character for him.

My brother in law, the narc det., is my best friend, except when we're drunk and he says "I &%$#ed your sister."

Seems like a tough gig to me....always worrying about your cover getting blown, dressing like a bum, always getting accused of being on the take. At least, that's what happens here to the UC guys.

JJ, you can use all sorts of things to force a patina. Mustard. vinegar, onions, potatoes, tomatoes virtually anything that will cause a reaction with the metal. And I have heard that you can use Windex to neutralize it once you reach the look you want.
