I HATE this!
OK, background because I got pic of the truck up, even thought I don't like the way it came up with all the other stuff on the page. All I wanted was the PICTURE, the way is used to be.
ANYWAY, as I said we should get the title back in the sellers name (her husband died and it was in his name) they are telling us Friday or Saturday. Anyway I figure it'll be next week.
2008 Dodge ram Bighorn. 15009 miles $14K
I know we could have gotten a brand new vehicle cheaper, but not one this nice with such low miles.

And I didn't say that we were needing a new vehicle. All we had was our 2002 escort and the 90 Jeep. We went to church with the folks and Del (delbert) really liked my wife. We all four got along really really well. Well Del died May 23 and Mildred (his wife) has never driven in her life. She has no need for the truck and can't afford it on her GREATLY reduced income (just on SS and his Riverboat pension). She offered it to us for this price and we thought we could kill two birds with one stone, help her out and get something we needed at the same time. We still treat Mildred the same, running her aound when she needs it which isn't very often and just giving her someone to talk to. She AND DEL were/are nice folks. Heck, she gave us the keys to the truck over a month ago telling us to drive it if we wanted/needed to.

I drive a 1991 F150 most of the time, I don't want a payment OR a new vehicle. I like being able to work on my own. I do have a 2005 Explorer too, my wife drives it most of the time. If she hadn't wanted the Explorer, we would be debt free as far as vehicles go.

Yeah we didn't want to have payments again either, but being in the middle 50's and needing something to allow us to take others places (family/friends) to the doctor or just running around together, it was almost a must have. Plus God willing, it should last us for the next 8-10 years or so.

I was thinking more along the lines of bacon. But donuts (cop vitamins) are good too.

I wouldn't have bought my truck last year but my Ranger finally decided to kick the bucket at 200k miles. Still have it, and may get it back on the road to save a little on gas. All it needs is a clutch and a little engine work and it'll be ready to drive. But, and this is the big one, my son turns 16 this year and he'll need something to drive also, so the Ranger is probably spoken for.

And frankly, I needed the room that the F150 has over the Ranger.

Todd, yeah we would have liked something with bette gas mileage as well, but the jeep only gets a MAX of 20mpg and the truck should get this as well. ONe thing I do know is that at 60mph it is running at 1600 rpm.

I think it is very cool you have a sign. It makes it much easier to understand what you are about to deal with when a person has a sign warning you before you start a conversation.

LOL, My F150 gets about 13-14 mpg. My Ranger got twice that.
