Thought about taking a heat gun to it but not sure if I'd help it or mess it up, so I'm just working the knife in and out a lot to try to "break it in"

I like kydex for certain applications and leather for others. I really need to get a few sheaths for some blades I have. Although I did pick up two tan Spec-Ops 6" sheaths yesterday for 10 bucks a piece. Now my HG55 rides in one and my S6, the HG55 will get a custom horizontal leather when it is done being modded.

I have always been a fan of leather as well. I have been rolling my own Kydex for a while now. I enjoy being able to make it like I want. I will probably make a few sheaths this weekend.

Try using a hair drier. I have used it in the past to get the kydex warm and mold. In fact I did it last night with the plastic iserts on the Spec-Ops sheaths too.

I have the ESEE-4, and it's one of my "GoTo" knives. I love it.

I am not working any real thing on monday, hitting the range to do some clay shooting before it gets too hot (need practice before Sept.1 Dove season) then I will be going by the leather shop and talking to the experts there. I want to try my hand at leather sheaths. If I ever get motivated enough, some extra time, and some space I will bend kydex/stitch leather/ and convex edges. I have a serious dream boys!
