Yeah I figured out that was what you ment.
Man, is it a full moon tonight? It's been crazy ever since I showed up! Got a 911 call where a guy got beat up, come to find out the caller is the one that started the fight. Got his back side handed to him by a half blind crippled dude!
then drunks out the wazoo, now another fight at the other end of the county(as always right). Oh and we had a foot chase as well where a couple juveniles got taken to the Juve detention center. Stupid night. They happen now and then. I am lucky I survived mine LOL.

Man I need to find something to get rid of so I can get that Tan Sod from Sumo if he still has it. Sitting in the bag, thought about taking it out and putting some battle marks on her. Problem is the tan DF looks good with his son LOL. Never know though!!!!

I've got to get a sheath for my SOD, I'd like to carry it some but right now have no pants for it. Look at Savage Leather. He is in VA, good prices, and great work. When I got my sheaths from him it did not take too long either. ![[Linked Image from i220.photobucket.com]](http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd98/sumoj275/SOD%20Pictures/lex%203-17-09/DSC00285.jpg)

ive gone on a few overnighter with my SOD and carried it the whole time. its just an amazing camp knife. i mean ive done everything with it, from making tinder, to bottoning, and some food prep. The SOD is a great knife, I use my LE and have kept the tan CG cherry. Of course it is a great all around knife, and this was my first SY blade.

For most chores like that it sure would beat using a DF! Dan has field dressed a deer with his DF. Cutting tomatoes would be interesting but I don't take tomatoes with me anywhere. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

NOTHING wrong with a 5 inch blade, but just something about a 7 incher makes it seem better to me. Guess I got delusions of grandur! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I think you are making up for something, I like carrying my Swamp Warden because of the size so there is no real correlation <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

Either that or Sigmund Freud was right after all! That why you like carrying your DF so much? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> If that is the case then that is why I got the B11 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

I guess I'm somewhat of a hoarder, I hate trading or selling anything. I spend so much time picking out something and then getting it, I can't get rid of it. Not me because if I don't like it, it is a redundant, or whatever it will move on down the road. To be honest the only reason I buy more than one of any knife is to hook someone up at a later date. The Wiener Dog I got at the AG was sold for the grand total of what I paid with tax.............others have helped me out and I like to do the same.

Todd, he said he just got it the other day but it "just wasn't right" for him, the reason he said I don't remember. Personally I don't like flippers because the "Flipper) sticks out the backside of the knife when it's folded and that is just something I personally just don't like. I love folders, but I understand that they can not be used and abused like a fixed blade. As you know I teach so I have to be very discreet about what I carry. I picked up a mini-Dajavu because it sits so low in the pocket. Would like to find a nice small peanut or small canoe for pocket carry.

Ok, I remember the SIG balde. But I'm not all that hip on finger grooves. They always seem to NOT fit my hand. Helps making a good fist load so you don't end up with a boxer's fracture. I remember the SIG blade too, that owuld have been a good one to snag.

I tried the Emersons, but I just didn't care for them. Different strokes I guess. Kept coming back to the Blur, eventually got rid of the Emersons. Got sn Emerson around here somewhere and feel the same way.

I get to go pick up my guns on Monday after 5 pm. Gonna be a long weekend and Monday Was hoping you would have them today. Oh well, anticipation is good. I think you made a good choice for "Boom Sticks".
