Search and rescue. Thats the big bonus here. Our team comes out for all of those. That and a reverse 911 calls in the area to be on the lookout for them. It works nearly every time.

Our EMS does the searches here, and we assist them. We just don't have the manpower to do a search, and they can summon a couple dozen first responders in minutes. They are really good at the search process, one of the best crews in the state.

Good news, she was located and is fine. Less than an hour from time of call to located.

Nope. That's EMS's baby. We have a dive team, but when they send them out it's usually for recovery.

We have an all volunteer S&R team. We run it but its all volunteer. They are sharp. Best in the State and rank pretty well across the nation.

Our EMS and first responders are run by the county. They're pretty good at searches, we have the Linville Gorge here, supposed to be the roughest area east of the Mississippi. They are always doing searches there for lost hikers and such.
