Been watching the Dallas Bengals game. Dallas looks good, but then again they have a lot on the line this year. If they can make the Super Bowl, and it being in Dallas I will make a trip down even if I don't have any tickets.

What do you guys know about Remington 1100 shotguns? I know they are supposed to be good guns as long as the rings are good. Any other pointers for them?

I set this sheath up for a right handed use. But I make them all to where you can switch the belt clip to carry it as a lefty as well. I usually leave more material on the back side of the blade. If forces you to sheath the knife from the back of the sheath only. I took off that material this time. Thinking that you could sheath it easier. Not sure I like the look or the fact that you can now sheath it with the sharp part towards your body.

I love Remington shotguns, but I've never owned an 1100. Shot plenty of them, but never owned one. Great shooting guns...

Reason I ask is that I traded into a 1100, 26" vent brl, matte finish, synthetic stock, extra 20" brl (blue that needs to be matte finished), a tube extension, high vis follower, and extended charge handle along with all the factory stuff.

They are a solid shotgun. Plenty of aftermarket stuff to build it into what you want it to do.

I figured with the hunting brl it could pull double duty for the house and for bird hunting. I am ready for dove season but the heat is going to suck.

Sounds like a nice setup.

I've never gotten into dove hunting. Used to like going after quail, but never doves. I love watching a good bird dog work.
