Ok I was wrong about Patty's picture that got HM inthe photo contest. It wasn't the ice one, but cypress trees/knees sticking up out of the ice and snow. I think it is one she lost when the hard drive died. But I think I have a pic of the blue ice that I will try and post.

I am hoping to get a tougher point and shoot for christmas. An Olympus 8010 or a Pentax W90. You lose some clarity but it makes up for it in not having to buy a bunch of cameras to bang around.

I'm not familiar with any of those cameras, but most of the cameras which come out, these days are pretty nice.
Toughness is one of the main reasons I use the camera I use, by the way.
