I could use help with multiplication!

The only reason I am decent is because of teaching her.....LOL. I rarely have to use it. Much like writing in cursive.

I am guessing I won't be able to teach her much after 4th grade.

Hate it when the younger generation is smarter than me!

I will be able to hold my own in biology and "natural" sciences. But everything else. Not so much.

I like to think that I am fairly intelligent. Carried a 3.98 GPA in college, always been very well read, etc. BUT talking with my 16 year old son makes me feel like an idiot! He was learning stuff last year (grade 9) that I didn't learn till college. Kids are learning so much so quickly these days.

Thats exactly what I am talking about RTH. I am lucky we have a really good school district. In fact one of the best in the nation.

We had a good school system here, till the school board fired our superintendent and gutted our schools out of spite. We lost accreditation and are having to fight to get it back. We can't get any new teachers here because of the school board and yet they laid off about 70 teachers at the end of last school year. It ticks me off.

Thats too bad. I just hope the high schools here are still this good when the runt is old enough.

My oldest is starting college this fall, and my son is in 10th this year. Just hope they get this mess straightened out before he graduates.
