I think the guy who ran the ranch was surprised. He kept commenting on how well we could shoot. All ours were one shot kills. They would come out anytime we downed one and we downed 6 in one day just walking around. We would get one then shoot another almost immediately. Walk around and jump one more and start again. They made us go to lunch after the first 4.

I never saw a feral hog in NC. But I moved away in 83.

Where were you at in NC?

I lived in Cumberland county.

But I hung around all over the state.

I think I may go read a book for a few hours before hitting the hay.
