We're watching Gene Simmons Family Jewels in dispatch tonight, for lack of anything else to watch.

i don't expect to shoot anything but concentric circles. maybe one day it'll take some critters but i doubt it.

probably a lot easier to pack than my bow, though.

it's a 4". they accidentally ordered two for some guy who wanted that model, and they're tryin to unload the spare. they also have the lcr for $400, which is another revolver i like. still think i want the 22. some .357 smith for $650 had my attention as well.
With a 4" brl the Mag rd will be ok, but it shines in the longer brl. Then again the .22 lr is a lot cheaper to shoot than the Mag rd too. Here in Oklahoma a ox of 50 rds of Mag will be about 11 bucks and bulk pack .22 lr is about 2 bucks more for 500 rds.

.357, got to love the verstility of them.

LCR, I like the feel and how they shoot. Reason I have een hoding off is I want one of the 357 mag ones when Ruger releases them and the price settles down a bit. No biggy because with school starting I won't have a lot of trail/woods time.

it'll be ok for a pack gun, or targets, I think. Just as long as you don't have Ruger expectations, you'll do fine with it.

Yes they are, I say go for it. Did they have a Single Six at the store too?

One of the good things about the Transformers II movie is the soundtrack. Some of my favorite bands playing on it.

Got to go for a bit. Laptop is funky tonight so I am going to cool it off while I eat a bite of dinner. Be back in a bit.

lcr's awesome, but every now and then i get logical and realize it's a terrible choice for me. it's extremely difficult to get a carry permit in nj and i'd be more comfortable with pepper spray anyway. home defense may as well be a bigger gun. finally, i'm more interested in sporting purposes so real sights would be useful.

it's still freakin' cool.

Well, no dinner yet LOL.

Mag, I understand what you are saying. If you are not getting a CCW then I would have a larger revolver for the house and the 22 for the range fun.

LCR is on my short list, in .38 spec. The .357 Mag is just a handful out of a little gun like that, and the .38 will do just fine with +P loads. At any rate, it would be a great carry gun. I usually carry a Glock 19, but it's a little big to carry in shorts weather.

Yeah, only reason I want the 357 LCR is for woods carry because .38 spcl +p will be fine for the street. What Gen is the 19? I want to find a Gen 2 19 and try it out. If not, then I will get a 3rd Gen and have the humps removed. Finding a decent priced Sig P229 in 9mm is almost impossible.
