I'm hoping to get a position with a very small firm (should find out in a week or two) - the primary practice is in property and wills/probate. Unfortunately, tax is going to be a huge part of my practice, even if only incidentally!

Great! Perhaps you can do a "group-buy" for the JYD's and help us set up Trusts so that we can all side-step the need for LEO signatures locally as a requirement to own Form 3 Firearms (I think Form 3 is what I'm thinking of...can't remember, getting sloshy )

Alright. I won't sign off - but I will get to reading Blair v. Ing - which will be a wonderful case, I'm sure - as tax law is so exciting!

I'll be refreshing the page ever few minutes.

I wish I was having a drink! I just might tonight.........

I'm in the process of losing a few pounds. I'm 6'2. My "fighting weight" is about 220 (I was 218 coming out of basic training 8 years ago). I was at 257 last month - and decided that it was time to do something about it. Tried a strict diet for a week and lost 10 pounds. Hated life, though. I decided to just eat healthy and exercise a bit, and dropped 6 more pounds the next week. So, I'm at 241 right now - which is half way to my goal of 225. Long story short, I may just have a glass of bourbon on the rocks tonight to celebrate the 1/2 way point!

And, class 3 firearms? One of my law school compadres has one (license) - we go out and shoot his silenced HK 9mm, Silenced AR15, and Silenced .308.

And every time I tell him that there isn't a reason in the world to own a silencer, but since they're so much fun, I'll shoot his bullets!

My recent acquisitions in the gun realm are a Ruger Redhawk 44Mag and a little Kel Tec P3AT (.380 pocket auto - VERY nice little gun. Not at all "saturday night special".

Ahhh yes, Class 3...thank you for the reminder!

I love the little P3AT's. Jared, if you're listening...they're located in Titusville (ie: Cocoa Beach). My dad and I both have them...and while I prefer a full size over it...there are just times when you cannot carry a fullsize fire-arm.

Mags and I were talking about workouts last night. I need to lose some weight as well. Good on you for taking it on while you're in your final push at school. I probably would not be successful at that. I think I gained close to 20lbs in my grad program...granted, I was also working 40-50hrs a week. My wife did all the cooking, mowed the yard, and changed the oil in my truck for about a year All I did was sit behind a desk, or so it seemed.

Sounds like you're on the right track, with the attitude to back it up!

I probably should not mention the pint sized glass that is acting as a delivery mechanism for my 100 proof toxin.....

Hey diceman! I have a different take on suppressed weapons. The gov't makes us put mufflers on cars, motorcyles, lawn mowers and other noisy things. "Silencers" should be mandatory. I mean, is it reasonable for me to ask my neighbors to put on their ear muffs every time I want to shoot something? Some things need shooting. That's what old TVs are for. They blow up good, heh heh. They blow up real good.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
