When I ordered my Regulator, I got the sheath with it. It's a good sheath. But I gave that knife to a Marine neighbor, along with the sheath. When some kind dogs sent me a new Regulator, it was without the sheath. Not to worry. I keep extra sheaths around, especilly the very versatile SYKCO Cordura 6" ones. Last year, Spec-Ops decided to discontinue their Navigator sheath. They were discounted by a local vendor so I got two in the discontinued Olive Drab, one short one and one long one. The sheath is similar to the Combat Master but it has a transluscent blue film over the pouch drain hole to let a flashlight shine through it. The gimmick never caught on, but the sheath is just fine. It's a bit snug, but my new Regulator fits the long one well. Just thought I'd share this option with you dogs. I think it looks good in that sheath. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Spec-Ops001.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Spec-Ops005.jpg)
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Sweet HD!!! I LOVE OD!!! I wondered how the Spec Ops would fit the Reg. I was gonna order without the sheath but decided that I wouldn't get one cheaper (or better) for the same price/performance ratio. Thank you for the pics and info.

And the Regulator Sheath is custom made for that knife, too. Ordering it with the knife is the way to go. But since lots of folks use the Spec-Ops sheaths, I thought I'd let them know that the long Spec-Ops sheath fits the Regulator just fine. And I like the OD, too. Some folks don't care for Cordura sheaths, but the well made ones seem to hold up for me.

If it does come out you could do a custom bend to make it a PERFECT fit. Also can the handle strap be turned the other way? I'm a lefty!

The liner is removable but the retention strap is stitched on.

I was looking to rebake the kydex (dont know if thats possible, is it?) to make it more snug, but them just bought a kydex sheat with a tek lok.....

If it's kydex you most certainly can re-bake it! That's one GREAT thing about it. Not sure how any hardware like rivets would react though. Thanks Ireash.

Well I think it is Kydex??? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Maybe it is just plastic. It has no Rivets just a fold overlap....Maybe Ill throw it in the oven tonight and see as the knife does move around a little in the original sheath....

Watch it when you put it in the oven. If it starts to open and UNFOLD it is kydex but if it melts it's plastic. The oven only needs to be 300 F.
