OK, I'm getting anxious, somewhere in an old thread I believe that I remember some inferences to a big Scrap Yard surprise at Blade. I have not seen anything giving us some hints as to what to expect. Just curious. Anyone else. Does Dan usually post some pics of a coming item like Jerry does over at bf. That new KZ-2 looks interesting. Maybe Dan is bringing out the scrap axe I have been wanting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

I know I will be in NE OK that week for a coaches meeting so I might slow roll on over, check out some woods and water that I grew up on, and then hit the Pea Ridge battlefield the day before the show. Make a nice little road trip out of it.

Man, we have the AK, the Ruck, the Waki, and now a Gladius..........I need a blade that conquered the world for so long--from the Bosporus to Hadrian's Wall. Seeing how my ancestry is from the Isles I am sure one of my ancestors faced down a Gladius somewhere.

I have a feeling the SYKCO Blade release is going to be awesome! Dan's keeping it wrapped up nice and tight for the Dogs, so as not to spoil it. Here's to hoping we get some teaser pics soon! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Well...Jerry is bringing the RES-C INFI chopper that everyone has been requesting; he's got the big blades covered (B-11, Z2, & Gladius). Since the Team Gemini is a fighter....I'd wager that there's room for a small / mid-sized utility knife, so perhaps we'll get a Muddered-up Boss Street <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

The more I mull this over....aside from the SS4 / Boss Street style EDC w/ drop point....
I would REALLY like to see a RES-C model with similarities akin to the Terror Monkey DSF. Most of SYKCO's mid-size blades tend to be "tall". I'd like to see something with a little length (not too long...unless it's a dedicated chopper), but with the height of a hack & slash fighter. The cool thing about the DSF is that it's really a fighter, but without typical fighter characteristics. It's a "do everything" knife...low on frills, high on use. A DSF with a Reg / De-Reg style grip would be intriguing to me.
