...and it weighs 1lb even on my super cheap, not-calibrated, kitchen scale.

The B11 is flat ground if i'm not mistaken, that lightens it up a lot even with the extra length.

Can someone post a picture of the B-11. I don't pop in often but sounds like a new knife if this is true, I sure would like to see a photo.

Thanks for the weight and balance point SP

The blade heavy forward feel to the knife will definately make it a great chopper for the weight. It looks to be a classic in the making .... at only 16 oz's it will be an easy knife for belt carry. It all sounds great ...

SF, remember that if something sounds to good to be true it probably isn't!

Hehe, just messing with you. Not much action here today at a few minutes after 6am. E911 got a call about an accident and a man laying unresponsive in the road. Come to find out, drunk got out of his vehicle and passed out in the road. He's gonna get a free ride out of this.

There were some great points noted over on BF yesterday as well.

Second hand info: The B-11 will carry more momentum in a swing than the BWM, considering it's additional length and weight forward design. It is also not as "Tall" of a blade as the BWM (I personally cannot wait to get pics side/side of the two), and with it's thicker top end and flat grind it could dominate in several facets (batoning, for instance).

I continue to mull this over...but getting one is inevitable
