The asym edge has an edge on both sides where as a chisel grind only has one, the other being flat

It might, I think for field sharpening I think you just strop it a bit on the convex side and you are good to go, I'm sure every once in a while you have to touch up the v edge

Oh, these are original basic series handles BTW, they found a box of them in the warehouse, they are the oldschool ones that say "busse" on them

I had read the B11s were coming with a convex edge. Any truth to that?

So, to answer your question, I believe they are bigger and fit the need more appropriately for the B-11's intended use. RC- are you keeping the sage ASYM for yourself? Really interested in seeing yours and Jared's reviews!
