Start off thinking $1800 and $600 sounds cheap...until i realize it's still $600! Rich for me!

As I heard it, those are Blade first-day only prices; afterward, the satin is supposed to be $1897. I'm down for a custom shop gladius with green linen handles.

OK so $1897 for satin. What about CG?

I think they are amazing blades but not sure what I would use one for. I wonder if it is more of a collectors piece.

Any thoughts?

Just a fun tool to smash things with. The occasional yard work, or to check out the odd noise in the middle of the night.

The Gladius would certainly do all of that!

I'll see what happens, but I was lying in bed with my Waki last night. I love the way it feels. Even if I never get a Gladius, I'm still very happy with my Waki.

Well...the Waki and the SY SCIZZY thingy are both made and priced to be used.

I'm really interested to see how they compare to each other weight and length wise.

I would love to see what I can do with it. Plus, I am just a sucker for a cool looking sword.

You guys may have not seen my older threads, but we use to do Busse meets here quite often. I think the Gladius would compete nicely, just gotta be extra careful with the double edge.

I have to say the design is very good on Busse Gladius. I can't wait until the CG version is available for all of us to buy!
